SUMMARY

To deliver desired, sustainable business outcomes and assure the integrity and continuity of our systems. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone's hardware, software and/or network sub-systems. This includes applying domain knowledge, using technical skills, mentoring less experienced AutoZoners, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, business analysts, product owners and other team members to understand the requirements (including non-functional requirement) and develop test strategy.
  • Develop test plans, test case creation and test case execution for functional, automation, performance and security testing
  • Write and maintain test automation scripts
  • Perform business applications functional system, integration (end-to-end) tests for new and existing applications
  • Participate in review and approval process of project deliverables
  • Advise project teams on appropriate approaches to testing delivered products, including test tool sets
  • Assist project teams on identifying the needs for appropriate test environments and coordinate the establishment of appropriate test environments
  • Oversee processes for identifying, tracking and reporting the results of test procedures
  • Find, track and prioritize defects and work toward their resolution
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
  • Effective reporting to management levels.
  • Participate in the testing of production emergency bug fixes
  • Participate in release production validation
  • Implement test metrics and test optimization techniques
  • Resource monitoring and mentoring, Details analysis, bottleneck identification and suggest for tuning
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability and ROI calculation
  • Design automation framework and test data management


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience in functional, test automation solutions, performance and security testing
  • 5+ year’s Quality assurance experience and end to end testing
  • Good QA experience in retail and ecommerce domain.
  • Previous work experience should demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, complete and deliver projects on time
  • Extensive experience with SDLC and QA methodologies, including, Functional testing, E2E testing, Automation, Compatibility testing, Regression Testing, usability testing, performance testing and security testing
  • Expertise in Testing Life Cycle and Defect life Cycle
  • Have hands on experience on ALM tools, Jira, Selenium, LeanFT, UFT, SoapUI, Squish, Jenkins, performance center, Jmeter
  • Knowledge on Java, SQL, Unix and scripting languages
  • Experience in test data management and exposure to test data management tools
  • Should have worked in CI/CD/CT model
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exposure to Agile methodology
  • Experience in web service testing
  • Implement test optimization techniques
  • Evaluate automation readiness of existing regression test cases
  • Convert manual test cases to automation test cases
  • Good experience in monitoring tools like Sitescope, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Native monitors tools like AWR, Unix Monitoring(commands TOP,NMon, etc), Windows (PerfMon) and application log analysis
  • Determine SLA based on non-functional requirement.
  • Bottleneck identification and recommend performance tuning suggestions.
  • Expertise in security testing tools like AppScan or WebInspect
  • Vulnerability identification and recommend issue fixing suggestions
