Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include Autocadd drafting of all layers of all new Autozone store prototypes, as well as maintaining and updating current prototypes, including fixture layer, text layer and dimensional information. Audits and modifies existing Autozone store prototype layouts based on changes made by Store Operations (ex: any changes to store fixtures.) Review and modify appropriately all fixture orders for existing stores and communicates this information to the fixture group. Document and distribute changes appropriately across functional areas on Autozone store layout for the set-up department and store operations as required. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • AutoCadd Drafting: Completes the detail layers required for all new Autozone stores. These layers include Merchandise text -Floor displays, location codes, trim - fixture codes used to determine size, fixture type, positioning, and dimensional information. 
  • Complete new store/remodel designs and complete set of plans for New store set-up dept AutoCadd Drafting.
  • Reviews and modifies all existing stores to prototype plans.
  • Interfaces appropriately with all departments for any changes to new prototypes, Continue adjacency merchandising roll out and floor displays updates. AutoCadd Drafting of Autozone HUB stores, Epi-Centers, document and distribute information accordingly.  
  • Document and distribute complete set of Autozone store layouts for the HUB stores and communicates to verify the plans are copied and mailed. 
  • Create DBX objects within AutoCadd for reporting purposes on store specific fixture placements and locations within a store. 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Level of Formal Education: An Associate's degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program. 
  • Area of Study: Architectural Technology/Engineering.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 
  • Type of Experience: Architectural/ Civil Engineering Technical Skills: AutoCadd, Drafting 
  • Other/Preferred: Strong technical skills/communication skills
