Marketing Coordinator, Traffic

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator, Traffic is a highly organized and detail-oriented team member responsible for supporting the Marketing and Creative teams by coordinating timelines, tasks, and project updates. This role primarily involves assisting the Assistant Marketing Manager and acting as a communication bridge between the Marketing/Creative team and key stakeholders for all creative requests.  

The Marketing Coordinator ensures that projects stay on track by facilitating updates, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including Managers, Directors, and subject matter experts within and outside of the Marketing department. A successful candidate is a collaborative team player with strong organizational abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordination

o   Assists with coordinating, prioritizing, organizing, and meeting deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously with varying completion dates and competing priorities

o   Works alongside of Assistant Marketing Manager  to break projects into doable actions and monitor and adhere to timeframes using Workfront (Workflow Management Tool)

o   Works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders: Merchandising, Store Operations, Legal and Visual Merchandising, to track requirements and objectives

o   Assists with schedule management

o   Helps ensure team members needs are met as projects evolve

o   Provides support to monitoring project progress, handles any issues that arise and escalates as necessary

o   Helps communicate project status to all participants 

  •       Intake

o   Help to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports

o   Assists with process documentation as required

o   Monitors that creative briefs are completed by assisting as needed 

  •   Support

o   Assists in inventory management with replenishment, new stores, and No-buy reports

o   Assists in implementing national roll-outs of in-store signage programs - verifying shipments from vendors, receipt at DC's and billings to stores

o   Partners with Print Procurement Team to track project lists on weekly basis, communicating deadlines with Art Directors and Management

o   Assists the Creative team in ensuring all requested changes are addressed with proofreading and checklist attention

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires a high school diploma and 2 to 4 years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience.
  • 1 years’ experience in project/ traffic coordination; equivalent experience working in an advertising agency or internal creative team considered a plus
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of employees, as well as outside contacts
  • Maintains organized workflow of marketing projects
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with good customer-service skills
  • Project management certification a plus
